As a Supply Chain Coordinator at Interfor, you will support the Manager, Supply Chain Coordination with supply chain coordination activities for the US South and Eastern Canada regions. This role partners Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Logistics to optimize Interfor’s supply chain processes and workflows, improving inventory accuracy, adherence to inventory thresholds, production forecast accuracy for Available-to-Sell, and on-time order fulfillment performance.

What You’ll Do
- Support operations in the accurate delivery of production forecasts on a weekly basis including updates, accuracy and metrics reviews and communication to operations and sales as required.
- Support sales teams by ensuring accuracy of available to sell.
- Support the logistics teams to resolve shipping challenges, meeting inventory targets and achieving on time order fulfillment targets.
- Support operations with order fulfillment readiness and effective inventory management.
- Manage order reallocation activities to optimize fulfillment and minimize freight costs.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across sales, logistics and inventory management, serving as a key liaison between teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and supply chain execution.
- Facilitate inventory availability, streamline operation processes and identify opportunities to improve service levels and overall supply chain performance.
- Support the supply chain team in systems and process improvement initiatives.
What You Offer
- Post-secondary degree in Wood Products, Business, or another manufacturing-related field.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, customer service in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work with planning, reporting, and data analysis tools, including Excel and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Logical, precise, and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Strong sense of prioritization and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to respond quickly to production plan changes, shipping issues, or customer needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customer contacts.
