RED SEAL CERTIFIED MILLWRIGHT, Elk Lake, ON Interfor is seeking reliable and collaborative team players to join our Elk Lake, Ontario Division as a Red Seal Certified Millwright. The rate for this position is $44.16 per hour. Employees in this role have the opportunity to earn overtime pay depending on business needs and shift schedules. Historically, trades employees at this location earned overtime pay for approximately 600 hours per year on average. Sawmill Maintenance Shifts: Week 1 Days Friday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all hours on Sunday paid at OT) Week 2 Mon to Thurs 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nights Mon to Thurs 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Planer Maintenance Shifts: Week 1 Days Friday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all hours on Sunday paid at OT) Week 2 Days Mon to Thurs 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nights Mon to Thurs 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. At Interfor, you will work in a sawmill environment where safety, reliability and teamwork are central to daily operations. What You’ll Do · Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations. · Preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system equipment. · Fabricate, construct and install equipment and machinery with the use of blueprints and diagrams. · Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention. · Be available to work day, afternoon, graveyard or weekend shifts as required.
