- Lead and develop the maintenance team by setting direction, supporting hiring and scheduling, and coaching performance to build a skilled, engaged crew.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety programs, coaching safe work practices, and ensuring compliance across maintenance activities.
- Plan and oversee maintenance work to ensure high‑quality execution, reliable equipment performance, and minimal disruption to mill operations.
- Manage systems, resources, and budgets by using the CMMS to track work and parts, improving equipment reliability, and controlling maintenance spending.
- Post‑secondary education in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- At least 1 year of proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of wood products manufacturing or similar heavy‑industrial operations
- Comfortable using CMMS and MS Office
- Strong leader with the ability to think strategically, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
