Position Summary
The Case Packer ensures that products are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for distribution, contributing to the overall success of the production line.
Position Responsibilities
- Pack finished products into designated cases according to company specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect products for quality and completeness before packing, identifying any defects or discrepancies.
- Operate packing machinery and equipment as needed, following safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any packing-related issues.
- Assist in the labeling and palletizing of finished goods for storage and shipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing efficiency and product quality.

Essential Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating packing machinery.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime when needed.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in the workplace.
- Must be able to follow directions and perform manual labor.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Able to walk and stand, use arms and legs for long periods of time including wrist turning and finger manipulation.
- Employee stands frequently with tasks requiring consistent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to complete; Lift, carry and push/pull occasionally of up to 50 pounds is required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions.
- Job locations can be consistently 40 degrees or below.
- The noise levels at work are moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.
