Position Summary
Supervise and direct maintenance operations in the Cook Plant.
Position Responsibilities
- Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectations.
- Develops and directs personnel to execute maintenance operations not to exclude any other areas assigned.
- Ensures programs that will monitor efficiencies and cost, are carried out, and adjusts as needed.
- Executes programs that will continue to improve the maintenance team.
- (In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee)

- Zero safety incidents
- Minimize DT below 5% each day (Combined operational & machine)
- Zero Quality Incidents
- Labor Hours use efficiency.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or 2-year Degree/Associate Degree
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to effectively present information to management
- Ability to apply mathematical operation to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of a variety of data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.
- Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results from others
- Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a six month to one year period
- Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Problem analysis and problem resolution capabilities at both strategic and functional levels

Preferred Relevant Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with production experience, or equivalent experience
- Experience in further processing maintenance equipment, and other areas in a further processing plant.
- Advanced computer efficiency.
- Knowledge of PMs, efficiency, and cost.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand and walk and sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job. The employee is also regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment fluctuates from quiet to loud.
