General Production - Packaging 2nd shift

Position Summary
This position will be responsible for assisting in the packaging process, ensuring products are packed correctly, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting production efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectation.
- Load Packaging material into respective machine(s) based on customer’s required specifications and schedule product.
- Clears Jams
- Basic functions of a machine (reset, press start, stop, select recipe)
- Assists with change-over responsibilities
- Must be able to keep all Packaging machines properly lubricated.
- Keep blank hopper loaded and adjusted
- Operate control panel and interpret errors
- Remove blank or can jams and reset
- Paperwork w/o errors
- Communicate up and down stream relating to production definitions
- Keep machine clean and orderly: cans, labels, and blanks picked up
- Turn area over in neat and orderly fashion
- Communicate material needs to supervisor
- Must be willing to be on job 30 minutes before and after line time to ensure timely start up and housekeeping of equipment and surrounding area.
- Obey company safety rules and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Must have (6) six consecutive months work experience in production or manufacturing.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with a sense of urgency with little supervision
- Must be able to perform, while being observed by management, all above position responsibilities on a predetermined date.
