Position Summary

Role Qualifications
- Must execute ways to satisfy the customer.
- Must ensure that all departments are working together for the same goal.
- Must develop systems and controls to ensure Cost and Yield goals are met.
Position Responsibilities
- Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectations.

- Housekeeping should be maintained continuously at least every half hour.
- Scale Tare weight should be verified every hour.
- The productivity board should be updated hourly.
- Product labels should be verified once each set of labels is printed for errors or misprints. Equipment should be properly placed in their respected designated areas.
- No foreign materials should be allowed at any time in the department.
- All electrical cords should be off the floors and water hoses should be wrapped up neatly when not in use.
- No supervisor or hourly employee should be working on any equipment “Maintenance Only.”
- The supervisor should double check all production paperwork for errors during shift and at the end of the shift prior to paperwork being turned in.
- Hourly checks should be performed on the actual yield and documented.
- Complete and fill all production orders daily and weekly.
- All pallets, labels and shrink wrap must be uniform before leaving the department.
- Any downtime over 10 minutes or any reoccurring downtime should be immediately reported to the maintenance supervisor or lead person on duty and the production manager.
- Label all trash combos as “TRASH”.
- Supervisor must follow and enforce daily all GMP’s.
- In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, and previous experience running a Mega-jet and other areas or equivalent experience.
- Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results from others
- Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a six month to one year period
- Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Problem analysis and problem resolution capabilities at both strategic and functional levels
- Strong customer orientation
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Commitment to company values
Preferred Relevant Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with production experience, or equivalent experience
- Experience running a Mega-Jet, and other areas in a poultry plant.
- Advanced computer efficiency.
- Knowledge of yields, efficiency, and cost.

- Work Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to hot and cold conditions prevalent at the time. The production area is normally damp or wet. The noise level in the work environment is of a level that may require hearing protection. The work hours are normally Monday through Friday and some weekends. The hours will vary due to production demands.
